Big update! I give you neat updates now you give me neat showtapes on YouTube to motivate me to keep going pretty please

  • Added 3 new characters to the Faz-Anim 2 other showroom (the Winchester looking area up on the high walls). That being Vennard, A.C., and H. Vac- along with their spotlights.

  • Added support for float, color, audio, video, image, and string types for programming. This is mostly barebones support- the actual working ones are float (0.0->1.0 in game), color, and Video. Faz-Anim 2's bit charts (for new shows) now add back in the support for adjusting the eyelids as floats, adjusting spotlight sizes, adjusting spotlight colors, adding back the video projector on the back wall.

  • Updated the ordering of the Faz-Anim 2 save template and added coloring per-channel.

  • Added a new Wiki option to the main menu that now details stuff about Faz-Anim 2, Give-LIFE, and how to mod the game. The wiki is also moddable with any mod able to easily add new entries or categories for themselves.

  • Added menu sounds to all UI buttons in the editor, alongside simplifying how the sounds grabbed the current audio.

  • Added jingle that plays when opening a showtape.

  • Added a new particle effect when programming with bool bits

  • Removed the ability to add in non-opv video to the media tab. Godot restricts video to just OPV because of bullshit patent hogging on h264/5. Just like how everything in RR-Engine had to be .wav and .mp4 we're just gonna deal with .opv videos here.

  • Tweaked functionality on breakers

  • Fixed some gap issues in the Faz-Anim 2 map and rebaked lighting.


Hotfix 0.19.1

  • Fixed some bad optimization issues with the new non-boolean bits.

  • Moved the process of sending signals out to be tied to framerate to now a solid 14fps. Note that any signal has 120fps of precision, but even the most chattery jaw movements clocked in at 8 changes in a second, so 14 makes up for any timing.

  • Spotlights now fade between colors assigned in a color channel. This fade speed can be changed for modders.

  • Fixed some precision issues with where the timeline scrubber was positioned.
