Thank You - For Everything

My dearest friends and followers,
My name is Chloe. You already know who I am without really knowing it. You probably know me as Internaut but my real name? It’s Chloe. I thought you should know for this very important post.
I just want to start by saying a deep, heartfelt, sincere thank you. Going into the fourth year of my GameJolt ‘career’ if you will, I am still in awe of how far we’ve come since this started way back in 2014. It’s still insane to me how much attention my games and various social media have got since I launched all of this as a simple 14 year old girl working out of her office which was fashioned out of a walk-in wardrobe, with no previous developing experience. Now, as an 18 year old girl who’s moving to London for university, its fair to say I’ve done my fair share of growing up.
I know I haven’t been as active in developing as I was when all this first started, and in a way, that’s one of the reasons I’m making this post. I’m finding it so hard to write this - it really hurts me to have to got to this stage but its only fair for you guys that I do this because I feel like I’m always leaving you hanging and that the time has finally come.
After serious consideration, heartache, and evaluation, I’m so sorry to say that The Internaut Game Studio is coming to an end and with it, all the development on forthcoming games.
It absolutely breaks my heart to say this but all good things must come to an end at some point, I suppose. I can’t help but feel I’ve let so many of you down not only with this news, but with so many of the promises I’ve made that were never fulfilled. Truth be told, the spark I felt when I first started all this has fizzled out and I don’t think it would be fair on you guys for me to keep pumping out games that didn’t have passion behind them. For me, if a game doesn’t have some ounce of passion behind them, then they aren’t really games worth playing. It wouldn’t be fair to give you guys something I wasn’t happy with or not passionate about. My passion has transferred to music and theatre so I’ve been putting all my time and passion into those and in the process, I’ve unfortunately lost my love for game developing.
The amount of time I have to make games has also been seriously reduced because of my move to university in September and because of all the school work I had prior to this. I’m not giving this studio and this page and all my games the passion and time you guys deserve so I feel like this was needed. Its not fair to be dragging you guys along, keeping your hopes suspended that there’s going to be a new game, or an update, or just anything so I think this decision was called for.
So I’d like to take this opportunity to say an enormous thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You’ve all helped me more than you could possibly imagine. You’ve been so supportive and patient with me and I’m so absolutely grateful for that - you’ve truly showed me what a great community this is and I’ll never, ever forget what an amazing experience this has been. I’ve made so many amazing friends through this studio and it’s honestly been an honour. I know that I ran this studio all by myself, but that really isn’t true; The Internaut Game Studio was never just me - The Internaut Game Studio was all of you too. You’ll all always have a huge part of my heart and just know that I’m so grateful for everything you’ve all done for me and that I love you all so, so, so much.
Thank you all for such an amazing 4 years. The Internaut Game Studio will always hold a part of my heart and with it, you guys will be a part of it too. Though I won’t be here, I’ll remain on all my other social media so this isn’t goodbye, really, more of a see you later. Links to everything are in my bio.
Thank you. I love you all more than you’ll ever know.
Goodbye for now. <3

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
