Before getting to that, I'm gonna talk about the gameplay. It's completely brain dead lmao, the game is really easy with Minnie being bugged, Donald being a kicking simulator, you crush Oswald by a crusher which is funny and some other things as well. The design of the monsters are the best they've been thus far but the building while good in quality is a bit bland as it's just a gray space but isn't that bad. The creepypasta sound effect is back so 10/10 (although the game-over screen is the worst in the series). You get nothing for the max mode and there is an extras (that do tell the player the names this time lol) and that's about it really. Now the story, this has got to be the most wild story I've heard Whitin a single game and I'm still processing it.
You play as a man named James Wincoff who has went missing for sometime (he might be one of the protag's in the first or second game) and have woken in a hellscape like area that looks like the tressure Island but deformed. With the help of the note that is placed he survives 4 rounds (nights but who cares) of monsters who have some sort of connection to you, by the 4th night as you wonder around the area an entity says that he hopes to you tomorrow (this is Photo-Negative Mickey but messed up, he's also one of the few returning antagonist in the series). You play the night with everyone gone but two characters that being a button freak and P.N.M, as you were just about to win a illusion shows up and brings along Illusion Minnie and Mickey and that's the end of the game... wat. Oh but wait, there's more! In the post night cutscenes you find out that James has looked up A SENTIENT TOON (Willy) FOR WHAT I CAN GUESS IS EXPERIMENTING ON THEM FOR REASONS. OH AND LATTER WILLY BREAKS OUT ONLY TO BE SHOT ON SIGHT AND BLEEDS TO DEATH LMAO.
I think the hellscape that James is in must be a memory thing as when you load into the night you can see bars and a removed Mickey head, and if you go to the custom night James dead body is there so yeah James is dead lmao. I don't have anything I could add but just that it's wild and I recommend you play the game for yourself to see just how silly it is. Overall I still think the first game is better for the gameplay along but is better then the seconded game and is an alright game all on it's own. Thx for reading and have a nice day/night :)
Here's my review on the first game.
