Hey everyone! Great news, to all those who were playing Pre-Release V1 earlier!
I found out the cause of the server lag and disappearing objects etc.
The randomly generated world which is 10,000x10,000 pixels huge needs lots of objects to fill it, and when the host needs to send over so much data (where each new randomly generated object is), it starts lagging badly and causes issues.
I did a little debugging and found out the host was sending 115 KB/s worth of data. That means 7 MB every minute, which is completely unacceptable.
Therefore, Iβve decided to make a huge decision. The gameβs world size will be smaller, therefore needing lesser objects, therefore sending over lesser data.
I am sorry for the inconvenience. A patch will be released either later today or tomorrow.
