And no I'm not saying this because "Bwahhh I cannot use my computer bwaaahhh I cannot text my friends" I can live without the internet just fine
But, I said electricity. Not internet.
The fucking power left Spain, more specifically my area, for almost 12 straight hours.
That is a ridiculous and fucking unacceptable amount of time for the power to be out.
Think about the families who had gone out shopping the day ago, or heck, the morning before and stocked up for the week/s. A ton of their food could have gone to waste and they could have lost a ton of money over this.
Think about the crimes that can and probably did happen because of this. If power goes out, the stoplights on the road, at least on Spain, stop working, because for some god forsaken reason they don't have a secondary power generator nor run on green energy.
All the cops have to go to the most important crosses and stoplights to make sure there's not some god awful accident on the road. And in places with little police force, that means they can't really go and deal with crime or theft.
Think about the businesses who sell frozen goods and could have had their entire stock gone to waste, the stress and legitimate torture that this shit caused them.
Think about the people that got stuck in elevators. Think about the elder people that got stuck on small uncomfortable claustrophobic elevators, as I know one grandmother from my town was.
This is absolutely disgraceful to happen and its just another show of how god awful this government is at dealing with this kind of shit. For fucks sakes, France had to come in and fucking help them deal with it.
I hate this government. Hated it since forever, hated it even more after the DANA (learn about that yourself, though its insanely depressive and not a fun time), and I continue to hate it.
Fucking selfish pieces of shit ruling over my country I swear to god.
That's all. Thanks for enduring my valkan rage, or whatever the term is.
Maybe I'll post pictures from yesterday here. IDK. I had a semi-fun time. Chickens were there.
Bye.
