Sonic the Hedgehog: Blasting Adventure

The final update is here. Check the article to see the changes.

All my thanks to all of you, for supporting this project ever since its first builds.

For now, I'll take a rest from game development. I have no plans for new projects.

Characters speed slightly increased.

Better Knuckles sprites.

New themes for Metal Sonic battle and space level.

Improvements in gameplay:

  • Better skidding, including the classic sound. Less slippery while changing directions.

  • Less speed loss while rolling.

  • You can now cancel Tails' flight, by pressing down while flying.

Press Q during the title screen to replace the Green Hill theme. Useful for gameplay videos or livestreams (since there is a bot on YT claiming copyright in GHZ theme. This bot doesn't have anything to do with Sega or Sonic Team).

Some people pointed out that Sonic’s Spin Dash was very slow. Good news — I'm working on a way to make it faster.

And yes. Green Hill is looking a lot more like Swamp Hill right now.

Version 7.1.1

Version 7 is here

This update came after "Version 6.6.6". Number 7 has a meaning of "finished work". This version also celebrates its 10th anniversary. Updates in the article below.

Version 5.0.2

Honestly, how low can someone go to steal arts from my game and make such lousy edits out of it? If you want to make stuff, do it with your own effort — DON’T STEAL OTHER PEOPLE’S WORK.

I have an announcement to make.

This guy finally has a name, Eryon. A name that defines his nature of an experiment.

It's a parallel with Dr. Gerald and Shadow. Except that Ivo's creation went out of control and his grandpa's later became Sonic's ally.

For the next release (Version 7), I'll be merging both versions (Complete and Legacy) into one single game. I guess it's much better than upgrading two versions of the same game all the time.
