The Future of Cross/Me

Believe it or not, game developing is not the only thing I do.

Well, you probably do believe it, seeing as I have only developed just one game, and it isn’t even complete yet. (That’s this one, if you didn’t know.)

The point is, I’ve got other projects I work on. That’s not to say that Cross/Me doesn’t take up a bunch of my time, because believe me, it does. And I enjoy that time. But I also enjoy other things. Such as writing books, playing with my friends, playing other games and even… making other games.

Which brings me to an announcement.

I plan to finish Cross/Me… It’s a very fun project for me. Problem is, there’s a lot of stuff left to do. And I need your help.

Sprites, sounds, and more, oh my!

If you would like to help me with this game, please contact me at [email protected] OR add me on GameJolt.

Now for another announcement.

I’m currently making 2 more games besides Cross/Me.

The first is based off of a book I wrote. It’s called THE DREAMER, Part I: Awakening. It will be a side-scrolling beat-em-up platformer game with some very interesting battle elements. It will, unlike Cross/Me, have a much more intense and professional frame of mind to it. High-quality sprites, an original music soundtrack, voice actors, etc. I hope that, when this game is complete in a couple years, it will be a huge hit.

The second game I’m working on will have a much lower production quality, but also a relatively unique concept. It will be a side-scrolling survival game, with many variables besides just hunger and health, such as thirst, stamina, sanity, immune health, strength, etc. Basically a lot of things to micro-manage with just 1 character. The choices you make in the game will also affect other NPC’s, so be careful. This game has not yet been titled, but a demo should be out soon.

A long update, I know.

TL;DR: I’m working on two new games and Cross/Me is going to be finished. I will never cancel it.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
