This will not be my last post on this page, there are still things coming in the future, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

This saga started as something really small, being my second project to be released, and I want to thank everyone who helped me throughout its development over all this time. However, since this was one of my first projects, it has aged quite poorly in terms of art, and because I was a novice developer, I worked on everything as I went without a solid plan (at the time I was busy graduating from school lol).

This year the game turns 4 years old, time really flies!

Since the saga reboot is currently in development, there will also be secondary work on what will be the final update called Villca’s Bakery: Legacy, the game that started it all!

It will be a full remaster including new content that I cannot announce yet but I hope it will at least improve the original gameplay experience. I am not ready to announce a release date yet but it will most likely come out this year. As I said, it is a secondary project so please don’t expect frequent updates.

What will happen to its sequels: TNaV HE, TNaV 2 WB!, and ASoV?

I am really sorry to say this, but there will be no recodes or remasters of those games for the following reasons:

The sequels became somewhat unnecessary, but I would like to give them an update someday if the opportunity comes. However, recoding them would take a lot of time, which is something I have decided to set aside for now. Since only the reboot of the first game is currently being worked on, the original version will receive an update instead. I cannot promise what will happen to those sequels once everything planned is released, but I will make an announcement if anything changes.

As a final note about the saga reboot, now renamed Villca’s Bakery, I promise to share previews of the project once there is a solid development foundation. For now, the focus is on art production, final planning, and ideas that could improve the game far beyond what is currently planned.
