Undertale Promise

The game is currently being developed, and playable sections exist. The base engine (built on Godot 4 in C#) is roughly done, but more will be added to it as the game goes on.

General Progress as of 28/4/2024

A playable version of the Ruins is done (though it is a very short section), so for now I think the engine is fairly robust, at least robust enough to add what I have in mind so far.

The story of what's going to happen has been drafted and is unlikely to change drastically.

Overview and Further Plan

The game will primarily consist of one location (Snowdin), though it will be a lengthy area. Ruins and Waterfall are in the game, but will play supporting roles - the bulk of the story occurs in Snowdin.

The overarching story will focus on Soul of Integrity's point of view and her interactions with the world around her.

Resetting and loading will work differently in this game compared to Undertale and UTY, and a lot more control goes to the protagonist.

Development has been going smoothly, though I expect it to slow a little in the coming months.

Beta testing has started. The game is about 80% or so done and hopefully can release by the end of April if the finishing levels can be made.

The game is already playable from start to finish, just some QOL, tutorial and pacing improvements left
