The good, the bad and the ugly


Here are the news:
First the good news. The Chara fight is done! And I must say, that I’m satisfied with the result. While the first dialog between Frisk and Chara is an expanded version of the original genocide route monologue (where Frisk answers to Chara), but in the fight, I added some characteristic to both of them. Frisk have realised what has she done, and since she is not cooperative with Chara, she is using those feelings against her.
The bad news: I realised a huge error in the fight system.

As you can see, you receive damage from the rotated knifes, even when you are not touching them. There is some maths behind it, and I’ve been trying to get my head around it. I’m even working on it right now. If I’m lucky, then I fix this today, but it might take several days (and I don’t want to work on this bit that much).

I really want to do the first release, so I’ll double my efforts this week. My plan is to make it to the Flowey fight, but we’ll see how far will I go.
