Hello all!! It's been a really long time since I last even thought of this game, and after some thinking, I've decided it's not worth trying to work on The Guys anymore. I wanted to release an early access soon after announcing the game; however, due to not having the ability to test out whether or not local multiplayer controller stuff could actually work, I hugely procrastinated on this game and didn't really do anything with it for a while.

I think now is the time to cease development all together since I can't imagine anything could come from this game now. It was a really fun idea that I just couldn't work on nor do I really want to work on anymore. It's sad to cancel a game, especially a game you had a huge emotional connection to. This game wasn't that, but I had fond memories of coming up with ideas for maps, characters, songs, and loads more, so it's tough to separate from it. But hey, it happens with all games eventually, doesn't it?

I hope all of you can understand my decision to cancel it. I might bring it back eventually just like I did with Fighter Game Thing or Evolution but I'm doubtful it'll ever come back, or at least in the form it's in. Once Cloudlink Omega is out, I might consider the idea of working on it again for online multiplayer, but again, I doubt I'll be working on it again any time soon.
