The Legends of the Lost Devlog #12: Release delayed + Demo Coming Tomorrow

I believe I have mentioned this in a devlog before, but for the past year I’ve had trouble being motivated working on The Legends of the Lost. This is why the game hasn’t being released yet even though at the start of the year I said it was almost finished. I’ve been slowly reshaping the game to be a much more interesting and fun experience which I hope people will enjoy as I have had a lot more fun working on these changes. This includes

  • A rewritten Story

  • Many new areas

  • More structure (Less focus on open world, but there are still plenty of optional areas to explore).

  • Reworked combat system

  • Mechanical Overhaul

  • A better user experience

Because, these changes expand from the original game and I don’t have as much time to work on the game anymore, the game is going to have to be delayed and I have no planned release date. (If i even get to finishing). But I am hoping to release a demo highlighting this powered up version of The Legends of the Lost sometime next year.

Speaking of demos because I haven’t released any content yet this year of the game I believe it’s finally time because tomorrow I’m going to release the beta build given to testers last year. This demo is essentially the original vision of the game minus some of the dungeons and it being rather buggy.

Well that’s all for today I hope everyone enjoys the demo releasing tomorrow :)
