This thing of posting very short excerpts of fangames that are being made is becoming saturated in a way that it no longer becomes digestible content, and I will explain why.
Dude, another Sans fangame short video? Are y'serious?
The first point is: not only is there very poor content to display on the internet, but all media is represented by Sans. There is no significant variation that makes the content cooler, it's just Sans, bone attacks, badass music and no depth whatsoever.
Not to mention that short videos like this don't help to put a little more content, it's the same saturated media every time, and most YouTubers like this still get a lot of views for these videos being short and easily forgettable. You can put a different version of Sans, or even an AU Swap (Papyrus replacing Sans), it will still become predictable and boring.
The main reason.
Either these coders are very lazy, or they lack creativity in what to do. That's why most of them are rejected when they want to participate in bigger fangames, they only know how to make Sans content, what else do they want?
If it's not a matter of laziness, why not dedicate the little time you have to learning how to do other characters' attacks? In addition to gaining more visibility, you will gain more learning as a coder, it's not that difficult to think.
Why does the content have to be so meme-like?
Like... Okay, not every fangame needs to be serious and all, but "skibidi", "rizz" or any jargon like that doesn't make me laugh at all. Sometimes even Sans's unfunny jokes manage to get more laughs than this pathetic attempt to be funny through such saturated content.
Want to post jokes? Fine, I'm no one to stop you, but TRY to be funny, post jokes or memes that most people know, not words directed only at the infant content. Not everyone communicates through jargon, be original.
Laziness... Again.
Most fangames aim to synchronize music with scenes, BUT THEY DON'T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT. Come on, we're such a miserable audience that we don't deserve even a little bit of construction in the video?
Lack of material.
It's very obvious that any coder like that, without having any spriter to provide assistance, steals someone's assets and makes them based on any take from an existing Sans fangame.
The image above proves this consistently.
This review was quicker and more direct than usual. Again, I'm not against you making this type of media, but if you want to win over a bit more of the audience, at least vary things up, no one can stand Sans fangames in every video, to be fair.
Anyway, that's it.
