The new "map"

Greetings!
As i said in the last post, a sequel is in the making. Still, there is not much of anything yet to create a gamepage for it. Therefore, im gonna use this gamepage to bring you some of the news!

So, in this first game, the game map was a big area with 4 smaller areas in it (Forest, Trainstation, Town, Neighbourhood). It works well but it is still a bit too small and somewhat limited and you can’t really explore anything.

Now, in the upcoming sequel, the map is going to be split into 16 areas instead. As seen down below, the map consists of 16 diffrent areas (or rooms if we gonna be correct) with each area having diffrent layouts and objects in it.

The environment is not randomly generated, but NPCs, enemies and items to pick up are. The player (you) will at the start of the game be starting in one of these zones at random (you dont start in the same area when starting a new game)

That is all the news i can give you for today!
Thank you for reading!
Best Regards
Eroxxie

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
