I am messing with the movement system.
I'm actually remaking the movement script right now.
Right now Movement is 100% client authoritative. I don't want it to be.
I am trying to make a Server authoritative movement for the game, and no I will not accept a laggy movement just like the melee which is also recognized as a big big problem right now. I might work on it also for the next patch.
I am also trying to get rid of people passing through other people when low FPS.
I will probably also fix some minor problems that have been reported in the Discord Server.
I will also make people able to see names of other people (along with the color to see who's your enemy) from a bigger distance.
When the Melee System gets fixed, I will probably make it a PUBLIC Beta. Not sure though, might be a bit later.
For another planned thing, I am planning to also remake the Ability System to make it less laggy too and allow me to make few things in the future. Better to change the system now than later.
This however will probably be done later after the first patch.
If you don't fully understand what I meant with all that, don't worry, you don't have to. Sorry for it being confusing though. This is more back-end technical stuff or something I guess
But if you want to know for example what Client authoritativeor Server authoritative... well... you might google it. We just don't want to always trust clients on the movement.
Client is a player that connects to the server.
