The Norwood Suite Teaser Trailer + Fantastic Arcade

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to announce that I have a teaser trailer for my follow-up to Off-Peak, The Norwood Suite. Check it out:

Link to the video above.

This summer, the Norwood Suite was a part of the New York University Game Center Incubator, organized by NYU and funded in part by the State of New York. It was a tremendous experience, allowing me to push The Norwood Suite into new dimensions of expressiveness and playability I hadn’t considered before.

The Norwood Suite will be showing at Fantastic Arcade at the end of September. I’ll be giving a talk, showing a preview build, and haunting around Austin. More news on that event will come soon, and if you follow my twitter feed, I can provide the play-by-play.

Also, I have implemented achievements in Off-Peak’s imminent Steam release, and I’m timing the roll-out of that to coincide with the increased visibility of the Norwood Suite, as it’s officially evolved into a direct sequel. It still maintains the ‘anthological’ spirit I talked about in my announcement post from late last year, yet now there’s more of a through-line between the two games and time spent working on the world these games are set in has made it more cohesive.

more to come soon,
