I want you all to read through this entire post before doing anything. Don't whip out the pitchforks until I've said what I need to say.

For the last week I've been filled with crippling doubt regarding the project's predicted impact on release.

The plan was to wow people and get them attached to this show, in a futile attempt to get Joel to notice people still care about "2 Ants 1 President" and consider bringing it back, even if for only a moment.

Unfortunately, as coding progress started, a series of events had occured, and I can only describe this as "fate locking in," and I've lost the spark. For good.

This isn't gonna be a "Rigged Votes" situation where the game is brought back after 2 months; it's being let go. Forever. I have given up on the mission this game strived to achieve.

"2 Ants 1 President" is a show that's too lost in time to be considered salvageable. There is no point in trying to bring back what's long rotted away.

Even in the event that this game were to be ever completed, Joel wouldn't give any form of a shit. Not even an acknowledgement. The show is dead to him, and so are the ants and Hally, and the only crowd I'd get outside of my followers are specific groups of people who get turned on by whirring machinery that only can run Windows 3.1. (Get the 486 processor out of your pants, weirdoes)

I've let Hally live in my head rent-free, doing whatever it took to try complete this game...and in doing so I lost myself to the work. Say what you want: maybe this is what simping is.

Either way, I know this isn't me.

This was a losing battle on my part and I apologize for dragging you guys down with me into the "2 Ants 1 President" fandom. I promise to strive to be better and not do this.

For now I'm going to clean up the team server of this filth.

Just know we wouldn't be here if Carl actually knew how to aim.
