Hello everyone, this is SussLord on behalf of Luminance writing about the recent passing of a prominent member in the community AnimatorGuy.
AnimatorGuy was someone I was lucky enough to know for a brief period of time along with other Luminance members, and hearing about his passing earlier today has left a hole in the community that can't easily be filled.
AnimatorGuy was one of the smartest programmers I knew, and without him it's very unlikely Luminance would even be developing Rat Race. On a personal note, when I knew AnimatorGuy, he was the person who taught me how multiplayer really works on a programming level, and walked me through how to make a bigger scoped project using multiplayer functions.
AnimatorGuys game "Five Nights at Freddy's Multiplayer" was the catalyst for Rat Race's inception and without him I doubt the game would've ever existed.
All of this to say, everyone in our team is deeply sorry to here about his passing, and all we can say is we hope everyone close to him is doing well and that he may rest in peace.
Thank You for Everything AnimatorGuy.
