The patch is uploading now, there is a chance your save data could be reverted when you download the update. If you are close to beating the game but don't want to do the boss fight maybe don't take the update for now, since the bug only affected the boss

Its been a year since this post, the responses made me consider leaving gamejolt and I'm glad I'm finally back on itch.io now
