I've been thinking a lot about how to move forward with Acre Shore. There's a huge amount of work to be done and, so far, I'm the only person working on the project.
I have contributed to the writing, the code, the art, and the music for the project and made some decent progress- but I'm nowhere near the finish line yet.

I have done a lot of work recently to improve animation and text rendering (since the visuals are very important for this project), and replacing my clunky dialogue script system with the far more robust "Yarn" language.
I have toyed with the idea of attempting a Kickstarter (or other crowd funding platform) campaign to fund the game. It isn't strictly necessary since I could plod along creating every part of the game by myself (which I don't mind doing), but if I could afford to outsource some of the items on my to-do list the game would be made much quicker.
Aside from hired help, a succesful crowd funding campaign would help to keep my software subscriptions active (many of which have expired now).

Food for thought! The chances of a succesful campaign would be slim, but on the off chance that it worked out, we wouldn't have to wait so long to visit Acre Shore.
