The Runthrough is back in Runengine ANS-2! (More on article)

If you do not know, The Runthrough was developed by Djek Studios Interactive (Hugo Peters) as a learning experience for him to get better at game development, making in the process a free version of The Impossible Game.

The version 0.0.2 had these levels, in this order:

  1. Chaoz Fantazy

  2. Flying'n'Stuff (Runthrough's exclusive level)

  3. Heaven

  4. I Seek You (Runthrough's exclusive level)

  5. Phazd

The sprites that you see on the screenshot are not from the game, but rather recreations that I made using GIMP.

I wanted to include this amazing game in my project since it was the first game of this kind I played. You can change between Impossible Game and The Runthrough in the game's settings.

Also, The Runthough's development seems to be stopped, I do not know the reason why of that.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
