Throughout Five Nights at Coso's PLUS development history, there has been some stuff that actually never ended making it into the final cut of the game. Usually, I never make any concepts before making a FNaF fangame, I just like to jump straight into it! Why the hell should I wait? Well, here's why. So for those who wanted an extras menu for the game, take this post as a 'Scrapped Content' section.
Original Warning Screen:
So the idea for the original warning screen (which was supposed to be for the OG PLUS remake) was pretty simple. Red background, text that goes in a circular motion, what more could you want?
I actually really like this warning screen, but, it was inevitably canceled with the whole prototype build because of the direction I wanted to take the game, that being heavily gameplay over story, unlike this version which was the opposite.
Original Menu:
So of course, since the original version of the game was heavily story based, we had a regular menu that would try to hook you rather than the current version which throws you right in.
This menu was scrapped due the new direction the game was going in.
Also, there was originally going to be a volume bar for the settings screen! This was scrapped due to me being stupid, but I recycled its code for Coso's current mechanic in the base game.
Red Chainlink Light:
Originally, the room the left was actually going to have a light in it. (hence why you see the red light seeping through the chainlink fence)
This was scrapped for obvious reasons, being that Meow would just be too simple to deal with.
Original Animatronic Designs:
These were some concepts that were made for the characters. These designs don't hold up in my opinion (except for Cosa) and overall needed a drastic change in tone, especially for Old Coso.
Scrapped ProtoCoso Mechanic:
So ProtoCoso was actually going to have a different than he does now! His original mechanic (which you guys can see in the very first post of the game) states that his mechanic was going to be EXACTLY the same as Cosa's.
This was scrapped due to each character having a different mechanic from one other, so his mechanic now is just to look away.

Scrapped Metalified Mechanic:
So Metalifed was going to be vastly different then he is today! His original mechanic was that his eyes were going to appear in the left vent and you simply had to look away.
What his eyes were going to look like in the vent:The reason this was canceled was that it was pretty much ProtoCoso's mechanic except he appears in a spot nobody visits often unless SpringCoso is active.
Also, if you are wondering why the closet and vent camera are automatically disconnected for the whole night when he is activated was because it was going to play IN his original mechanic. He himself would be in the closet and he would use his extendo eyeball tentacle things through the vent.And, since we are on the topic of Metalified, did you know that originally he was going to shut off 3 CAMERAS AT A TIME on MAX DIFFICULTY? Nowadays, if he's on max difficulty, he shuts off 2 cameras and disconnects them in random order. But back then, he could shut off 3 cameras and was a LOT slower, which was a nightmare to even try out all max mode on.
Scrapped Office:
This was originally the VERY first version of the PLUS: Deluxe Edition office... Can you see why I never used this version?

Scrapped Blurry Coso which was going to be used in the background of the warning screen
Scrapped render of both of the main cast in the office
Unused "extra" renders of the characters with no clothes on, it was going to be used when an extras menu was on the table of things I should make for the game. (I'm glad they've gone unused holy shit they look uncomfortably creepy)
Scrapped render of Classic Old Coso. He was shaded a lot darker in the final version
