Hey folks, Graphisk here, bringing you another devlog to show that I haven’t quit and/or died.
To start off, I would like to say that, yes, devlogs haven’t been coming out very often, but that is probably how things will stay, mainly due to wanting to keep from spoiling things like the plot, characters, and so forth.
With that out of the way, here’s some content:
Ever since the Discord was made, work on the game has been going well.
There is a working room-transition system with proper player placement and fade-ins/outs, a semi-usable UI, and the player character doesn’t appear as stiff when moving around.
Plus, with a ton of help from Waffleface, the battle system is beginning to take form, starting with a textbox that can stretch when needed:
Now, I would like to mention that while we have gotten artists, testers, and a programmer, we are still looking for someone who could compose for the game. Please, if you are interested in the game and would like to help out, you can check out the applications channel in our Discord (link in the game’s description).
Oh, and there is one last thing I would like to put out for this devlog.
In the last month, I have been helping out with two other projects, and I would highly recommend checking them out:
Undertale: Soul Arena-
“UT: SA will be a multiplayer based Undertale fangame where you compete with other players worldwide in real time to become the strongest player in the world.”
https://gamejolt.com/games/undertale-soul-arena/278827
Undertale Cyan-
“In this fan game set before the events of Toby Fox’s Undertale, you control Charm, a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. But is there even a way out?”
https://gamejolt.com/games/UTCyan/282645
I believe that is all that I’ve got for now. See you in the next devlog!
