the start of my myth to mon series

in this series I will take a creature from mythology and turn it into a pokemon with its own type, and abilities as well as give a brief overview on where the creature came from and a bit of info about it

the antmen

orign: greek mythology

antemen are exactly as the name implies, they are half-man, half ant, they are the height of a human with ant legs and 4 arms, each carrying a bloody dagger or sword. they have massive heads that resemble that of an ant. they were created by zeus to be the ultimate army and were said to be so strong that they could defeat any army in battle. they are said to have the savagery, agility, and discipline of worker ants with the strength of men

potential type: bug type is obvious but I couldn't decide on whether to make them fighting or steel type at first, however, given their origin I think that dark type is far more fitting

abilities: swarm and steelworker

signature ability:

colonize: the more "antmen" that are in your party the higher their stats will be, having a full team of "antmen" will result in the highest level one to turn into the general ant, which has double the base stats of a normal "antmen"

this is a reference to the fact that they served as an army and worked best in a unified group
