On a new game the title screen cutscene will play which nicely transitions into the main game's opening cutscene (That I haven't added sound to yet)

Introducing the BEATDOWN Mechanic!
When an enemy unit knocks down a player, they get to act again!
Once all players are knocked down, the enemy will initiate a beatdown with their buddies!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
I made my guards smarter by programming them to ambush the player!
