So this morning a trailer for the new FNAF game into the pit was leaked and it is in a very unconventional style for this series 8 bit so obviously this has sparked a bit of a debate in the community on the studio making the game and in this theory we will discuss this.
First let’s talk about the main development studio now steel wool. This doesn't seem like their style for all their games so this seems like it’s a slam dunk then it’s not steel wool game but there is a few reasons I’ve found. First a stream right here on gamejolt were steel wools head said that they would like to dip their toes into the 80’s section of this franchise but you couldn’t do that without making splashes in the looorreee community and obviously FNAF doesn’t like doing that 💀 so what better way to do this then reiterating a story that’s already told while also adding their own spin to things hence the golden Freddy section of the trailer
Last click team fusion the engine Scott used to make the original FNAF games with. If you didn’t know last year click team were making quite a few FNAF related tweets and whatnot were they asked for employees and made a happy Halloween video with a ripped up Bonnie plush a weird choice right, well call it a stretch but who else is a Bonnie none other then are main villain of into the pit spring Bonnie and also there has been a lot of drama surrounding the books canonicity and this might be a bit of damage control from their end.
