So, this game has been called "Ease Collection" for over 2 years. However, I have recently been thinking about turning this game into a soft reboot for the series, allowing new players to understand the game better. Instead of just being a collection of remade games, I felt people might be more appealed to play a game that seems more original in nature. So, I thought I could just change the name to "Ease the Alien" and just combine some of the remade games into chapters. Will the gameplay change? No, it will not. Instead, the story will be told through "chapters". There also might be slightly more story. This will also not affect the development time as it is basically just the same game. I also say "soft reboot" because this does not retcon anything and the previous games are still canon. So, would this be a good idea?
Chapter 1 will be a retelling of Ease 11
Chapter 2 will be a retelling of Ease 1 and 2
Chapter 3 will be a retelling of Ease 3 and include a Cyclone boss fight at the end
Chapter 4 will be a retelling of Ease 4 and 5
Chapter 5 will be a completely original story that concludes the entire story of Ease
The bonus menu will still exist and it will remain the same.
Personally, I would prefer to rebrand the game but if the community wants it to stay as Ease Collection, I will respect that.
P.S. I am probably also changing the time travel plot just because I personally don't like time travel in media and it gets too confusing. So, The Creator's time machine is going to be a dimensional portal (this makes more sense anyway as he used portal pieces to power up the time machine) and Ease will be sent to the alternate timeline.
