From the independent development of Federico de Tezanos Pinto and Manuel gamboa Naon from La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) Leon, a 2D platform game where the main character is a chameleon that can only complete the different levels using his camouflage and avoiding conflict. You have to use your limited amount of abilities and the different power ups to complete the levels!.
The main idea was to create a platform game in which you could not attack, just jump and blend in, starting from the idea created a game with a fairly rapid pace in which pattern recognition gives you the advantage to move forward. Also we wanted to give the player the ability to make their own levels and participate in the process if they wanted to so they can learn, share and have as much fun as they can with the game.Thats why the level editor can be acquired once you completed the first 5 levels. On the other hand we also want to make more games! so we made the game free and open so everyone that wants to check the code or use the assets can do it.
• Platforms: PC (linux, windows, mac - pending -).
• Users: E (everyone).
• Language: Processing.
Jumping, blending and pattern learning are some of the things you have to do in order to progress through Leon the game!. The main concept is that you, as a young chameleon can’t fight your way through the levels, you have to depend on your non violent skills and your wits in order to advance and triumph. The game also can be creating new and exciting levels so you can challenge other people to your death chambers or infinite jumping exercises, all that can be achieved with the in game level editor, unlocked after the first levels are completed. Or maybe , maybe you want to create a tool, or a new enemy or a new game mode, or a new and totally different game, well you can. The code is open to everyone that wants to use it, be it making mods or totally different applications. If we can motivate just one person to learn how to code it would mean the world to us.

What was this game made on?
This game is made completely using processing (http://processing.org/), a fantastic programming language!.
Why did you made a game using Processing?
Because we believe it is a language with a lot of potential and a great community. Processing is an excellent language for learning to code, its simple but at the same time offers many possibilities, has a good learning curve and best of all,its got an immediate input! . You learn making graphic and / or interactive applications from the beginning. So making a game using processing with code and all other assets open to everyone seemed like a good idea to promote both programming and game development.
