Some slight level design changes in SSZ act 1 that you can see. This more or less goes for the rest of the project, touching up areas and what-not.
I've composed an original music track for the Special Stages and have done a bit of recomposing for Contrast Coast Zone, specifically the middle bit which I wasn't overly fond of.
I've changed the pause menu a bit to mesh better with the SMS limitations. The options are now listed at the bottom over a new, blanked-out section of the screen (trying to simulate the game using horizontal interrupts to turn off background graphics for the menu.) I did this due to problems with foreground elements.
I've recently found that the blank left column the screen has only appears when there is horizontal scrolling involved (i.e. it doesn't need to appear on the the menus since they don't scroll at all). I've done some changes to accommodate that.
For my next update, I should show off all the Sailor Senshi portraits I've drawn for completing a Special Stage. I still need to code in their unique combo attacks though.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to release the game in full this year as much as I'd love to. I might end up releasing it in 2022, which I believe is when they'll celebrate Sailor Moon's 30th anniversary. That might just be the better idea.
