This is (currently) the last entry in my 1-bit Metroid series of pixel art pieces. Samus almost invariably is shown landing at her latest mission each game, so I created this piece of her landing on SR388 as it would have felt wrong not to make it. ☺️

I thought I’d try the #pixelartvent challenge list hosted by PixelArtJourney’s, though I’m also going to use only 6-colours and fuse each prompt with Pokémon… I’m a glutton for punishment.
The first prompt was bell, so Chingling was an obvious start.

Considering that baubles have a nasty habit of exploding when dropped, Voltorb seemed a good choice for the prompt.

Given the prompt, Cryogonal was a clear choice of subject. This was far easier to make when I decided omit the outline.
