This Week at MekaFox Studios

This week we accomplished quite a bit of design work overall as well as a bit of programming practice by way of competing in a game jam. Lead Artist Johnie “Noble Fox” Tindle has finished creating a majority of the alpha build art assets for First to Die: Ultimum Mori as well as using this time to train Alex Blevins, our intern from my homeschool class. Meanwhile Lead Programmer, Frank “mekazombify” Giddens, has been piecing together the game engine for the flagship game as well honing his skills by participating in Text Jam 2014. The result of the practice being the game Hacker: Epoch, a stripped down tycoon style game with a retro theme. Check out the development blog next week to see the results of AGDG Microgame Jam and to get more news on the continuing development of First to Die: Ultimum Mori.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
