There isn't much to talk about, so apologies if this month devlog seem short.
Three Random Archives:
Alright, so first off, music! Each archive will have one or two dedicated genres of music to their story. Hail to The Jester jumps between somber and elegant classical to upbeat music. As of now, Coming Home only has chiptune, as it's really hard trying to find the right tracks, that fits the game and the scene and story appropriately. Archive #3: "14:14" consist of the blues and jazz music, so there's that.
Moving on, I want to talk a bit about visuals! As you might have seen with the thumbnail, the visuals for the game has been improved upon. Here's another example of the game with the same shader effect.
This is just a quick one off example of some of the many effects that'll be used. From giving each archive a different distinct look from each other, or to heighten the gameplay experience.
Extra:
Mr. X: Makeshift Hell is just about almost done, well kind of. I mention last time I would be re-releasing my old games onto GameJolt up 'till the release of TRA. Sadly, I recently learned that the cloud service that I used in the past, was discontinued for a better version but now under a paid subscription service. So, unfortunately after Makeshift Hell release, my old "retro" titles re-releases will be put on hold. However, every other month (or when I can get to it.) I will release a random game, whether it be from a game jam or something I can make in 42hrs or less. With that being said Makeshift Hell will see a release on the 21st of this month! So look forward to that. Here's a small teaser of what the game look like.
Bit of a short one this time around, but next month is bound to have new info that I can actually share. Thank you for all the support!
