๐Ÿš€ Ticket Town Development Update - v0.19.0

Big milestone reached today!

Ticket Town's first fully playable mobile gameplay foundation is now complete.

For the first time, the game is running on Android with movement, camera controls, multiplayer networking, and server-authoritative abilities all working together in a live build.

What's New?

๐Ÿ“ฑ Mobile Controls

The mobile controller is now fully integrated into gameplay.

Players can:

โœ… Move using a virtual thumbstick
โœ… Control the camera with touch gestures
โœ… Pinch to zoom in and out
โœ… Activate abilities using on-screen buttons

A huge amount of work also went into making the controls work correctly across different screen sizes and resolutions.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Force Push Is Working

The first multiplayer ability is now fully functional.

Force Push now successfully travels through the entire multiplayer pipeline:

๐Ÿ“ฑ Mobile Input
โžก๏ธ Client Command
โžก๏ธ Server Validation
โžก๏ธ Skill Activation
โžก๏ธ Gameplay Effect

This means abilities are validated and executed by the server while still feeling responsive to players.

Visual effects are still coming, but the gameplay functionality is now working.

๐ŸŒ Multiplayer Progress

We've also been testing networking performance and simulation rates.

Current results are very encouraging:

โœ… Extremely low network traffic
โœ… Stable multiplayer performance
โœ… 60Hz simulation confirmed as the current gameplay target
โœ… Additional optimization opportunities already identified

๐Ÿ”จ What We're Working On Next

โžก๏ธ Skill pickup system
โžก๏ธ Runtime skill assignment
โžก๏ธ Force Push visual effects
โžก๏ธ Mobile/PC control auto-detection
โžก๏ธ Fireball skill implementation
โžก๏ธ Additional multiplayer gameplay features

Ticket Town Development Update - v0.18.0 A step in the right direction....

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
