Tide Returning?

I now feel as though i am comfortable enough with Java and JLWGL (Java LightWeight Game Libary) to return to Tide.

I have realised there were a nuber of crucial mistakes in the development of Tide 0.2 on my part.

  1. If i remember correctly, I was developing it to be in a window of 720 by 1280 or similar. I realise that most people would prefer full screen and resizeable window options.

  2. I had done Absolutely no planning. So before i begin any crucial componets of Tide (0.2?) I will plan out as much as i can.

  3. I was developing the game in a sort of chronological order, as in i was finishing the main menu before i moved on to the next thing. I should have simply made the main menu useable then moved on, and came back to it before the first release.

Thank you for sticking with the game. I should have more updates for you shortly. If you wan’t live updates, prehaps like my facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/DudV2Official

Or follow my Twitter: https://twitter.com/thedudxo

They are both linked, so the posts will be the same. however you won’t see replies or retweets on twitter appear on facebook.

I might also post some videos of the games progrss, when there is something to show, on my youtube channel: https://youtube.com/dudv2

Not tide related. Using maya and might put it into unity.

Where do these posts get views from?

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
