Hello, it's holographicquad (Two cousins creating games) here with another monthly update! (October🍂)
The fall season is starting to settle in so grab a warm drink and cosy up because its time to get caught up on what we've been up to for the past month.
Demo
Last week, we released a new demo with updated gameplay. You can read all about it from last week's post, or play the demo now to try the latest features. We definitely want to hear any feedback you have!
New features:
Leaning more into the coding side of things, here are some of my favorite new features that we added
Mauves Speed items:
We added new Items that allow DIgi-Mauve to move faster in the attic. This also means items arrive faster.
Moving tables moves the tabletop furniture:
Now when you move tables with items on top, the items will move along with the table instead of being left to float in the air.
Walk Events:
We added a new type of event that can happen while traversing the attic in the DIGI-DOLL
So far we have …
Item Events - A random item is found
Character Events - Unlock a new toy NPC to add to your Home
Choice Events - Pick a choice to get a furniture Item
Activity Event - Unlock a new activity for Mauve to perform in the Toybox
And Our Newest Event... Walk Events! These events happen while your pedometer bar is filling, you will randomly run into a spinner or a shady coin trader!
Art And Animations
As always, a lot of new art and animations got done. Here are some of the highlights!
New Toys:
The theme this month may have been animal lovers because we added three new animal themed toys!

All the animations and artwork for all three of these toys are completed, and that makes us even closer to being done with creating toy NPCs! ( but lets wait and see till next month...)
Since the last devlog, we also completed the entire cast of ragdolls!! :
Our last addition is Wyn. Can you guess what her Home Style will be?
We also wrapped up all the code and art for all the virtual items:
