Time

Telling game developers, especially indie game and fangame devs, that their game(s) is taking too long to develop is a bit of a weird move. I feel like that's what a child would say. It's almost as if....game dev...takes time!! And arbitrary rules shouldn't be put upon them! 😟

(unless you're an AAA game studio, then I guess???)

Hate getting comments like those. How long do you think game development should last? If you answered with a time limit, you're wrong. If you want to put a release date on yourself or your game, then cool, but don't expect everyone else to follow it. You're just gonna get a weird look/ response back. And if you don't understand that game dev takes time, then maybe you shouldn't be on a game dev team or go near any indev games.

Just don't understand people who come to us except content like we're the next Nintendo or something. It's almost as if we do this hobby of ours in our free time or something..........

There are days where I just get so demotivated and depressed that I don't even touch the project files or even my PC for days on end. Constantly asking for content does not help.

rant aside, stay soupy :3
