Time to explain how I do pixel art again! :3

Ok. First off...pick your colours...you can either do a palette...OR, you can do what I do:

  1. Throw together random colours that go relatively well together

  2. Blend all of the HEX colours you used, in equal amounts, to produce a base. I just give ChatGPT all the HEX codes and tell it "Yo, mix all of these together equally"

  3. Merge a percentage of each colour with the base, to build a good palette...I use this website for blending HEX colours: https://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/color-blend/

Here's a piece I did, before that stuff with the HEX codes, and after...

See the difference it makes? (Ignore the extra detail)

Now for actually making the pixel art...here's my method:

  1. Start out on the smallest canvas that could support what you want to make

  2. Make the basic shape of your pixel art

  3. Export at double the size

  4. Use the extra pixels you now have, to add more detail

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until your pixel art has all the details you want in it.

That's the way I do pixel art. And I use Pixilart for making it (https://www.pixilart.com/draw?ref=home-page)

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
