TJoC Dev Update #6 | Almost there!

As I’m prepping for the release of the game, I felt like updating you all on what’s currently going on. I’ve updated the header, description and added the final image teaser.

The 5 main levels are also now technically complete, and the last couple of days have been made up of getting people to finish parts for the rest of the game (think animations, voice acting, music) which means that there will be a final teaser video very shortly, focused on the story, which is now a bigger part of the game (like it should’ve been, really), as the mistakes I’ve mentioned before have now been fixed. Which also means that the game will be releasing shortly as well!

And wow, what a ride has this been, going from a development test, another development test, a spin-off and something I promised and thought I’d never be able to achieve, to a game that I’m very proud of, and I hope you will be having a lot of fun whether you’ll be playing it yourself, or watching someone play it :)

We are under attack!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).
