To the Death is coming back

Hello again.

We’re back, boys.
This time things will be different - It’s time to fix the mess that I created about a year ago, where major parts of the game were heavily flawed, where the patches eventually boiled down to hopeless bugfixes that fixed nothing, only really added fuel to the fire.

The following will be fixed by the next update:

  • That annoying bug where one character freezes and cannot attack.

  • Ground level is annoyingly high on the palace map

  • Inconsistent hitboxes

  • Night mode

Until then, I’ll read comments and see what I can improve with the game. Controls were a major gripe, so those will be killed off in favor of new improved controls.

Bye.

EDIT: I have also updated the link to the discord guild, never noticed it had expired: https://discord.gg/RJu7rev

Development Log #1 So far this game looks… mediocre at best, but there’s walking and jumping finished, along with some custom physics goodness! Edit: Oh yeah, there’s an amazing jump animation!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Why walk when you can jump?

Explosive domino effect

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
