Hello Playerssssssss..... How’s it going?
Today I bring you the patch notes for the new 0.0.5 update, featuring some new content that’s still in testing but already playable. There may still be bugs, and I’ll be working to fix them.
So, I present to you the Hand System, a feature I’ve been thinking about for a long time—longer than the entire development time of Project World itself! But what exactly is the Hand System? Let me explain: in other games, the player’s hand is usually just the right hand or both hands together depending on the item, and it’s purely visual. Our game will be different: each hand is independent, with its own hotbar and slots. Each hand has five hand slots, and to use each hand you currently need to switch using the mouse scroll button or the down button on a controller. I plan, in the future, to make it unnecessary to manually swap hands on a controller and to add quick access to the second hand on mouse, but I’m still working on that, so it’s not complete yet.
I also made some small changes to the game: the user data folder is now located atAppdata/Sain Dreams/World
. I added a new block: cracked stone. The old hotbar is gone—only the new one I mentioned is available. I think that’s about it… I probably forgot something, but I’ll let you discover it.
Thank you so much, everyone. This time I don’t have any spoilers for the next update, but I’ll bring more news another day. Have a great gaming session, everyone!
