Howdy! Today, we're releasing v2.1.0 of TS!UNDERSWAP, a minor content and support update. Also, macOS is now officially supported!
(Also, this is the first time we're releasing officially on Itch! Beware of any fake clones!)
The major changes in this version include:
Support for macOS has been officially re-introduced! We currently support versions 10.13 (High Sierra) or later.
The nomenclature of "Demo" in the game name has been dropped, as it has caused widespread confusion. This does not change anything else, however: we are still in early access.
Our commitment to updating certain assets has been completed:
The Boogiemen (Harry and Larry) battle sprites have been mostly replaced with new designs. Some attack patterns have been adjusted accordingly.

Two music tracks have been replaced with new versions: Let's Boogie (now named Boogie Beatdown), and Kountdown.
Formatting of the in-game (and by extension, the website's) credits has been overhauled. The credits have been updated in general, too.
The underlying GameMaker engine has been significantly updated. Things should work almost exactly the same, but some bugs may have snuck past us. Let us know if you have any issues!
Additional changes in this update include:
Some Froggit sprites have been updated.
Some Mettalot overworld sprites have been updated.
Papyrus's head shape has been changed to be more in-line with its UNDERTALE counterpart.
Slightly adjusted battle icons. An empty ITEM inventory now displays a unique graphic.
Muffet has been given proper text blip sounds, instead of using the default text blip.
Koffin-K's hat portraits now properly update based on those who wear him (or when nobody is wearing him).
Alphys expressions that are currently in the game have been adjusted to better fit their context.
Some minor sprite changes have been made to Asgore's house in Ruined Home.
On desktop platforms, the mouse cursor will now be hidden by default, in most circumstances.
Fixed minor depth issues with the cage near the end of the currently-available game.
Fixed potential crashes when connecting unrecognized controllers.
Fixed certain controllers not being recognized by the game, as a consequence of updating GameMaker.
RECRUITMENT
On that note, Team Switched is once more open for recruitment! Ideally, we're looking for people who can be committed to being active on the project. That means checking in frequently and participating in development-related conversations.
Roles available:
Musicians (~2-3)
Game Designers (~3-4)
If you're wondering what that second role means, you're not the only one! It's a new position we've added as part of that internal restructuring we mentioned a while back. Game Designers will be involved with designing puzzles, enemy attacks, area maps, etc. Basically, they're going to help the game be more fun! It's a bit of an odd role, but if you're interested in the position, we'd like to see some games you've worked on as proof of your skill in the area.
If you have experience in either of these two areas and you'd like to join us at Team Switched, please fill out the form below! We're excited to hear from you.

But for now, can players on Mac beat TS!UNDERSWAP before DELTARUNE Chapter 5 releases next week!?
