TWELFTH DEVLOG ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT

Alright, so November has been a good month. Night 2 is FINALLY done (istg this night was a pain). Furthermore, a major focus during this month was also to optimize the code. For example, the primary task for Night 1 was absolutely atrocious due to having a lot unnecessarry variables and "if-then-blocks". Now it's been made a lot better using lists.

Developing Night 2 has made me teach a good lesson: Don't make the tasks way too ambitious and hard to implement coding-wise.

Currently, I'm having a few exams so expect the first half of December to go slow and the second half to go a lot quicker.

-WHAT'S NEW?-

  • Night 2 has been 99% developed, it just needs a few more tweaks.

  • The primary and secondary task for Night 3 has a concept which I'm intending to implement to the game.

  • Major reforms to the coding when it comes to the tasks and general gameplay. Still planning for a loading screen to reduce lag.

Thanks for following the development!

Both the game and the TV show of The Last of Us have been praised for their depiction of Bill. In 2013, GLAAD described the game's Bill as being "as deeply flawed but wholly unique a gay character found in any storytelling medium this year."
