Two nights, a lot of drinks, and an "oh sh*t moment" has gotten us here!

The boss fight… the one I posted about a few days ago.

Making it was harder than any boss fight in any game I’ve played. He didn’t want to cooperate, he tried to break my computer, and he was a BAD IDEA to work on after a night of drinking.

Had a strange bug: My melee attack is bound to the shift key if the player decides to go keyboard over gamepad (you’d be crazy to do that for this game!).

So I had a bug that crashed the game on melee attack, and it STUCK my shift key function on for my entire computer. Everything I did was all caps, number keys came up as $#$%^@* etc, and the numpad didn’t work at all.

Did I figure out why this was happening? NOPE. I couldn’t - for the life of me - figure out why I couldn’t type in my numeric password to a website, or why I couldn’t put numbers in code, or why capslock was forever stuck on.

Took me literally a whole day to have the AHA! moment, and realize what was going on.

But… lo and behold - a rough working version is here! A bit buggy, way unbalanced, and overall kind of ugly.

To me he’s beautiful!

Meet the forest ogre! He throws his treasure chest at you in ironic fashion, because you KNOW you want it! Just not like this…

Oh man! This is progress! Colored text is impressive to everyone!

Working on a town!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

brung back my old oc plus a new one
