Hi, it's Lottie, the developer of UNDERCREATOR.
Recently, a project by the name of Undermaker was released by Raylynx Esper. Its purpose is to simplify coding as much as possible using a Game Maker Studio 2 project file. In contrast, UNDERCREATOR is a visual fangame engine and not a project file for any other game engine, there is no code required to work UNDERCREATOR or any of its features.
So why am I making this post as if it was a big deal? It is not a big deal, though there is one detail that may confuse people.
UNDERCREATOR originally had the codename of "Undermaker", and that is what the save data folder is called. I switched to UNDERCREATOR because 1) it was more fitting with the concept, 2) it would reduce confusion with previously named project templates that were also called "Undermaker", and 3) I decided to cut off any possible similarities or mistaken connection to SUPER MARIO MAKER by Nintendo, which was one of the main inspirations behind the idea.
With that being said, I just wanted to make an official announcement that both UNDERCREATOR and Undermaker are not correlated with each other. In the trailer for Undermaker, Raylynx did give UNDERCREATOR an honorable mention, which I am greatly appreciative of.
