Undersmash is now open-source!

Find the Unity project files here: https://github.com/mrflappi/Undersmash

Important note: the game is VERY BROKEN, it may take some work to produce something playable.

It's true!

Hi all! I know I made this promise a while ago, but I am very happy to announce that the Unity project files for Undersmash are now open source on GitHub! The only thing not included is online play, however I doubt that would be hard for someone to set up.

The game is in a very broken state, so please don't expect to be able to boot the game and play it - most of the attacks don't work, there are many missing and placeholder textures plus the code is all a bit of a mess. If you have any interest in continuing development, I bid good luck to you, I can't remember if I commented it. To be honest I'd rather move on with other projects now so I'm not going to comb through it all and explain how the code works, especially since I hardly remember myself.

If you want to play, locate the scene called Entry and press play.

Either way, working on this game was very fun, and I don't feel too sad about not finishing it, I have other things I can make! And I feel less guilty now that what I've done isn't just going to be buried at the bottom of my hard drive.

Have fun!
