Undersmash Progress Update 14th January 2024:

It's 2024 and I'm makin' strides.

Progress

Above is a video of some gameplay. It's DEFINITELY only a fraction of what I've made and NOT the only content in the game right now. Promise!! The UI is pretty slick tho probably not what I'm going to be using in the final release

Online and offline multiplayer is complete! I think the only thing that doesn't work right now is searching for public lobbies - other than that everything is working.

Playtesters, playtesters, everywhere

We have playtesters now! Yes some lucky fellows from the discord have been given keys to access playtester builds of Undersmash. This is a huge milestone and I'm already working on feedback they have given me. I am currently only giving keys to close friends and people who have interracted alot with the game.

Release date when?

I see an Undersmash release this year.. I just FEEL IT. 2024 reeks of RELEASE DATES. Probably late in the year, unless I decide to reduce the number of characters in the release. Also, I'm increasing the number of stages there will be since they aren't as hard to make or balance :)

Someone suggested reducing the colour palette - I do quite agree that this is cleaner, though the other one had a 'roundness' that I really enjoyed... Not sure!

Finally finished this costume before Halloween

Gone through a Minecraft modding phase, been making some mods which tweak the game a bit that I want in my own world, and I'm releasing the mods publicly too! :)
