Undertale 2 Chapter 2 Devlog 1: Progress of a new sort...


So, you're all probably wondering how progress has been going so far on the project. Well, I have some... interesting news.

A while back, while I was waiting patiently for UMT updates, I suddenly realized something: I have a GameMaker Studio 2 Desktop License!

So, I've decided to take a new approach to this project: rather than wait for UMT updates to slowly trickle out, I will instead recreate the entire game in a new GameMaker Project from scratch. That way, as new chapters roll out, I can more easily add them into my project.

However, there is no guarantee that this will be any faster, as I still have mountains of code to decipher and reconstruct for my project as I intent to use the assets from the chapter 1 demo and reuse a lot of them in places where I believe it may be more efficient than something toby added in chapter 2.
