So, you're all probably wondering how progress is going on the project. Well, I have good news, and I have bad news.
Good news: I FINALLY GOT THE PROJECT WORKING! After countless hours of porting, re-porting, and about 4 revisions of the project due to roadblocks, I FINALLY got a stable and working version of my project in the Gamemaker Studio 2 IDE!
Bad news: While the project is "stable", there are still a multitude of bugs and glitches I have to iron out due to the old demo using bytecode 16 and this new version uses bytecode 17. So it's still gonna take some time before I release the next version.
But I can say that I am making steady progress with this. I've already ironed out several bugs over the past 2 days, but there's still a lot more to go. But at least you all know now. PROGRESS!
Plus, as an added bonus, now it'll be much more easier to roll out updates whenever I need to, considering I no longer need to scour the entire texture pages for a specific sprite, and I don't have to worry about unnecessary files increasing the filesize of the package. BONUS!
