Undertale Last Breath Renewed: Deluxe has entered public beta!


Hi there. So I have said for a long time that I'd be making a mod for ULB Renewed, seeing as a lot of people wanted fixes for it.

Now, I present to you, the unofficial patch the game deserves!

Keep in mind this is public beta, and there may be some unintended mechanics or weird behaviours.

Here's what has changed:

  • The precision has been nerfed in phases 1 and 2.

  • New music has been added to the menu, phase 1 and phase 3.

  • Removed all of the evil RNG that would cost the player a no-hit run if they got unlucky.

    • This includes scenarios where it was literally impossible to dodge 80% of the time.

  • You can hold "X" to slow down.

  • The lag has (hopefully) been fixed!

  • Clipping out of the battle box is no longer possible.

  • Achievement functionality has been restored.

    • In addition, new achievements have been added.

  • Practice Mode has been added, allowing players to practice attacks from any phase (except Chara).

  • Indicative colours appear on the explosive devices used in phase 1.

  • Attempted to correct a bug where the soul would float above the platform longer than intended in attack 10, leading to the player taking damage.

  • Daggers are now aligned correctly in phase 2.

  • The crime against humanity has been removed. Now you can actually tell where the bones will appear.

  • Phase 2 now restores your items on death.

    • They won't be restored upon completing phase 1 as for the sake of challenge running.

  • Fixed the spinning screen bug in phase 2 if the intro is not skipped.

  • Button piece collision has been enlarged.

  • Fixed softlock that is caused by missing an attack in phase 2.

  • Phase 3 now has an intro skip that is available from the second try.

  • A weird LV 15 bug was patched.

  • Blue bones in phase 3 no longer keep you from dying if you run into them when your yellow HP bar is zero.

  • Healing has been added to phase 3, which can be turned off in the settings menu.

  • Asgore and Flowey intro cutscene is now skippable upon retrying.

  • Corrected an issue with music/sound volume mixing in the Asgore and Flowey battle.

  • Chara has been brought back from the dead, and their fight is now more connected to the main story.

    • Phase 2 is unfinished, and thus access to the credits is cut off for now.

  • Some bugs in the overworld were fixed.
