Hey!

Hi! Well, I know it's been a few days since Dev Log # 1, so I'll keep this short!.


Test Build Status: Part 1

The status of the Test Build currently in terms of content is Complete.

The reason I haven't released it is because of some bugs I've had with Test Build Events, i.e. events that were either working incorrectly or were just unwanted.

This has caused the Test Build (which I was planning to release today) to not happen.

I have taken the opportunity to add a few things to the Database, which is not much, but it is something to start with.

I'm going to estimate that I can release it this week or the next, but these are just estimates.

Don't take this as an exact date.

I've also been thinking about uploading the fangame to Itch IO, I don't know, it could be fun.

Maybe I'll polish it up when I finally consider the Test Build over. But for now, GameJolt will be my main focus.


Test Build Status: In Summary...

  • Content (Dialogue Test, Sound Test, Battles and Zone): Finished [ ✅ ]

  • Events (Scenes, Dialogues, Dynamics): Partially Completed [ 💬 ]

  • Bugs (Event, Map and Text Issues): Under Review [ 🔧 ]


I was originally planning to make the Test Build just a single un-updated release. But you know what? There might be other issues that others might notice. So I'll see if I can release a Test Build v1.1, for example.

The good thing is that the Test Build is close, which will give me the opportunity to develop Demo 1 at some point, I will make an announcement when I have released the Build.

One thing I've been meaning to plan is a Spanish Translation, that will be released later.

Well, that's it for this Development Log, short as always. But anyway, that's the statement I wanted to make. I'll prepare and correct what I can to get this weight off my shoulders. See you in another post!

This is a preview of the Test Build, the Battle Test is not ready for now, I changed the font and some items are added

I fix the color palette!

Previuosly I used MS Paint to import/export the sprites, but look now!

I decide to use GraphicsGale (a pixel-art program, idk why not Aseprite), but I fixed a little bit.
